After a successful career, Mr. Stamm is beginning to look forward to retirement in the near future.  He is presently finalizing his open caseload.  However, Stamm Law is ready to handle any of his clients going forward.

Born and raised in New York City, Gregory Stamm made Buffalo his home for life when in 1964, he attended Canisius College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1968.

Mr. Stamm went on to study law at the University at Buffalo School of Law, where he received a Juris Doctor degree cum laude and was selected as a Note and Comment Editor of the Buffalo Law Review. After service in the United States Army as a First Lieutenant, Mr. Stamm returned to Buffalo to begin his career as an attorney.

For several years, Mr. Stamm served state and county government and was assigned to review medical programs from both a quality and cost-effective perspective. Mr. Stamm took this experience into private practice, and by 1980, he was representing health professionals throughout New York State on complex legal issues involving the health professionals’ licenses.

In the mid 1980s, Mr. Stamm took his acquired range of knowledge in the medical field to a new focus when he began accepting medical malpractice cases for injured patients on a selective basis. Through the years, he was able to balance his respect for the medical profession, enabling him to represent injured patients while still helping health professionals with government entities which oversee their licenses.

Mr. Stamm also focused his practice on Estate Planning and Asset Protection for the elderly. His knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare law enabled him to advise clients on the best way to plan their estates so that their wishes, and not those of the government, are effectuated.
